Text Box: The Law Center on Market   Completion:                        Fall of 2006 Architect:                          River Street Architecture Owner:                              Mr. Morgan Adams Project Manager:                Corey Griffin Superintendents:                Barry Henderson                                        Brent McCurdy   We are currently performing a 30,000 s.f. renovation of a historic building on Market Street across from the Chattanooga Choo Choo.  The project is called the Law Center on Market and at completion will house Law Offices, three leased retail spaces, and eighteen apartments.  The building is owned by a Chattanooga Attorney, Morgan Adams.  The building has a great deal of historic value.  We have heard that Al Capone stayed at the hotel (in this building) while awaiting trial in Atlanta.  Besides once functioning as a hotel, it has also housed a restaurant called Metropolitan Café and most recently Nick’s Liquor.  We have found various construction materials dating as far back as 1811.
