Text Box: For over 34 years, Vega Corporation of Tennessee has provided quality construction work to its clients in Chattanooga and surrounding regions.  Vega Corporation is renowned for relying on “repeat business” to survive as a small business in a competitive industry.  Our honesty, effort, personality, and quality work has enabled us to perform numerous projects for clients such as Bell South, Tennessee Valley Authority, Olin Chemical, and Arch Chemical.   Vega has received the “Gold Award” from Bell South and was awarded the TVA Minority Owned Supplier of the Year in 1996.  Our number one goal is to provide lasting relationships with our clients. A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and a Professional Engineer, Louis F. Garcia opened the doors to Vega Corporation on April 1, 1970.  Vega’s very first projects included several design/build projects for Cavalier Corporation including many of the industrial properties along Amnicola Highway.  Through the years Vega has continued to provide quality projects building solid relationships along the way.  Perhaps our most notable project was the concrete work, including the main structure on the Tennessee Aquarium.  Vega Corporation is a minority owned business as well as a small business designated by the SBA.  Today, Vega Corporation performs approximately $10-12 million of contracts per year and employs approximately 40 people.                      Vega  Corporation of Tennessee
