Text Box: Renovation of Main Offices for Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority Completed: September 2004 Architect: River Street Architecture Owner: CARTA Project Manager: Corey Griffin Superintendent: Barry Henderson The CARTA Main Office Renovation was a complete interior renovation including new lighting and a new HVAC system. The renovation also provided a new board room for CARTA in the rustic brick building on the property. A new roof was installed on the main office building consisting of thirty-two skylights. Each office utilized a skylight to minimize the requirement of electrical lighting. Several subcontracts were issued to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise companies including Vasco Electric, Rugina’s Interiors, Mathis Companies, Hanner Construction, and BMG Specialties.
